At Fire Mountain, we're committed to providing high-quality BBQs that are built to deliver reliable performance and enjoyable outdoor cooking for years to come.
For added peace of mind, we offer extended warranties across our gas BBQ and kamado ranges, covering eligible manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
1. Warranty Coverage
Our warranty periods vary depending on the BBQ type and component.

The warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship that arise under normal domestic use, provided the BBQ has been assembled, operated, cleaned, maintained and stored in accordance with Fire Mountain's instructions.
2. What Is Covered?
Subject to the terms of this policy, the warranty covers:
- Manufacturing defects affecting the structural integrity or normal operation of the BBQ.
- Faulty components resulting from defects in materials or workmanship.
- Defects in the ceramic outer body of kamado BBQs that compromise its structural integrity or safe operation.
- Defects in gas BBQ components, including burners, cooking grates, ignition systems and other original parts, where the failure is attributable to a manufacturing defect rather than normal wear, corrosion or misuse.
- Defects in kamado ceramic fireboxes and steel components attributable to manufacturing faults.
Where a valid warranty claim is accepted, Fire Mountain will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include repair or replacement of the defective component or product, at no additional cost to the customer.
Any remedy will be provided in accordance with applicable consumer law.
3. What Is Not Covered?
The Fire Mountain warranty does not cover damage or deterioration resulting from the following:
Accidental Damage
Damage caused by dropping, knocking, impact, mishandling, transport after delivery or other accidental incidents, including cracked or broken ceramic components resulting from external impact.
Cosmetic Damage
Scratches, scuffs, chips, dents, discolouration, staining, fading or other cosmetic imperfections that do not affect the BBQ's structural integrity, safety or normal functionality, unless caused by a manufacturing defect.
Normal Wear and Tear
Deterioration resulting from normal use and ageing, including expected wear to cooking surfaces, seals, gaskets, finishes and other consumable or replaceable components, unless a manufacturing defect is established.
Rust and Corrosion
Surface rust, oxidation, corrosion or deterioration resulting from exposure to moisture, salt, chemicals, unsuitable cleaning products, improper storage or inadequate maintenance.
Rust or corrosion caused by a manufacturing defect may still be covered.
Improper Use or Maintenance
Damage resulting from:
- Failure to follow assembly, operating, cleaning or maintenance instructions.
- Incorrect assembly, installation or connection to a gas supply.
- Use of unsuitable fuels, gas types, accessories or cleaning chemicals.
- Excessive heat, uncontrolled fires, thermal shock or use outside the recommended operating conditions.
- Failure to clean or maintain the BBQ appropriately.
- Improper storage or failure to take reasonable precautions against adverse weather conditions.
Unauthorised Modifications or Repairs
Damage caused by modifications, alterations or repairs carried out using unsuitable parts or methods, where these have contributed to the fault.
Commercial Use
This warranty applies to normal domestic use only. BBQs used for commercial purposes, including restaurants, catering businesses, professional cooking operations or rental use, are excluded from this voluntary warranty unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Kamado Ceramic Warranty – Additional Conditions
Our 5-year ceramic body warranty is designed to protect against manufacturing defects affecting the main ceramic outer body of the kamado.
The following conditions apply:
- The 5-year warranty applies specifically to the main ceramic outer body and does not extend to the ceramic firebox, steel components or other accessories.
- The ceramic firebox and original steel components are covered for 2 years against manufacturing defects.
- Cracks or fractures caused by impact, accidental damage, incorrect handling, thermal shock or misuse are not covered.
- Minor surface crazing, glaze variations, colour differences or other cosmetic characteristics that do not affect the structural integrity or safe operation of the BBQ are not covered unless they constitute a manufacturing defect.
- Structural cracks or defects arising from faulty materials or workmanship under normal use are covered within the applicable warranty period.
5. Making a Warranty Claim
If you believe your Fire Mountain BBQ has developed a fault covered by this warranty, please contact our customer service team.
To help us assess your claim, we may request:
- Proof of purchase showing the purchase date.
- The BBQ model and, where available, the serial or batch number.
- A description of the fault and when it first occurred.
- Clear photographs or videos showing the affected component.
We may also request additional information reasonably necessary to determine the cause of the fault.
Where a manufacturing defect is confirmed, we will arrange an appropriate repair, replacement component or other remedy in accordance with this policy and applicable consumer law.
Customers should discontinue use of any BBQ that may be unsafe, particularly where damage affects gas components or the structural integrity of the product.
6. Additional Warranty Conditions
- This voluntary warranty applies to eligible Fire Mountain BBQs purchased new from Fire Mountain or an authorised retailer.
- Warranty coverage begins on the original purchase date and does not restart following the repair or replacement of a component.
- Replacement components may be equivalent parts where the original specification is no longer available, provided the replacement is suitable and does not materially reduce functionality.
- This warranty covers manufacturing defects occurring during the applicable warranty period. It does not guarantee against all forms of deterioration, damage or component failure.
- Fire Mountain will not be responsible under this voluntary warranty for damage unrelated to a covered manufacturing defect.
- Any limitations in this policy apply only to the voluntary warranty and do not restrict remedies available under applicable consumer law.
7. Your Statutory Rights
This warranty is provided in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory consumer rights.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Customers may be entitled to remedies where goods do not meet these requirements, regardless of whether the manufacturer's warranty has expired.
Nothing in this warranty excludes or limits any statutory rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable UK law.
